Jr./Sr. Comic Artist

Responsibilities

• Design and sketch characters, settings, and environments
• Create thumbnails and storyboards to plan page layouts and panel flow
• Draw and ink comic pages based on scripts and storyboards
• Collaborate with writers to ensure the artwork aligns with the narrative
• Apply colors to finished pages using digital tools or traditional media
• Adjust and refine artwork based on editor and writer feedback
• Manage time efficiently to hit strict publishing deadlines
• Keep up with current trends, digital software, and techniques in comic illustration

Requirements

• An online portfolio is required to showcase the work before being considered for an interview. Include character designs, background designs, Graphic Designs. Sample Comic Book panels/pages is a huge plus. Please indicate the link on your resume. 
• At least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/ College Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia
• Background and experience in visual editing tools such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint
• Keen in detail
• Communicate and work effectively in English
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday
