Great typography drives character voice and narrative rhythm across every panel. We’re expanding our roster of Remote Freelance Manga Typesetters (JP to EN) to help deliver flawless, authentic releases to readers worldwide.

Your role in the team

• Typeset
  • Typeset transalated dialouge, narration, captions, and SFX using a separate designated typesetting engine that uses automation.
• Polish
  • Follow the specified fonts, formatting guidelines.
• Maintain Flow
  • Ensure consistent text placement and overall page quality.
  • Address QA and client-requested revisions.
• Deliver
  • Submit completed files through the designated workflow

Qualifications

Project Terms

• Recruitment Porcess: Must successfully pass the comic typesetter trial to demonstrate the required skills and proficiency.
• Equipment Requirements:
  • Own laptop or desktop: Must have a personal computer and the necessary equipment to perform the required tasks.
  • Stable internet connection: Must have a reliable internet connection for accessing the work platform, communicating with the team, and handling file uploads/downloads.
• VPN Access: Must be able to use VPN (we'll provide the software and credentials), as this may be required to access the designated work platform and projects resources.
• Full-Time: A minimum commitment of 40 hours per week is required throughout the project.
• Part-Time: A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week is required throughout the project.
• MH Tracker: Must complete and regularly update the MH Tracker for the project.
