We are continuing our global talent search for remote freelance translators ready to manage high-fidelity narrative tracks under fixed delivery schedules.

Your role in the team

• Localize
  • Translate content from English/Japanese into the target language with accuracy and readability.
• Polish
  • Review and edit translation for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Follow project-specific glossaries, style guides, and client instructions.
• Maintain Flow
  • Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and tailored to the target audience.
  • Maintain consistency in terminology, style, and tone across projects.
• Deliver
  • Conduct a Final Read for completed translations before submission to ensure accuracy, natural flow. consistency, and compliance with project guidelines.

Qualifications

• Linguistic Profile
  • Native fluency of the target language and deep familiarity with the target culture (e.g., raised, educated, or long-term residency in the target country) is stricty required.
• Core Competencies
  • Strong grasp of cultural nuances, linguistic conventions, and communication styles in both languages.
  • Ability to adapt meaning, tone, and intent while keeping natural readability.
  • Background or strong interest in translating entertainment content life manga and anime is highly welcome!
• Project Terms
  • Recruitment Process: Must pass a screening translation test and a quick 10-15 minute online English proficiency interview (No AI/Machine translation allowed).
  • Commitment: Fixed weekly delivery schedule for a long-term, simultaneous-release project. Strict deadline adherence is essential.
