Job Description

Comic Book Letterer Needed — The Death of Ragnarök: Rostam vs. Thor

Project: 25-page full-color indie comic, launching via Kickstarter. Persian and Norse mythology collide in a 25-page action comic.

Team: Written by Behzad Afshar-Naseri (SCAD Sequential Art). Interior art by Nathan Tada. Colors by Edgar Wolv (20+ years, Rolling Stone, Panini Comics). Cover B by Robert Atkins (G.I. Joe, Amazing Spider-Man, Marvel/DC).

Scope:

Lettering on 25 interior pages (dialogue, captions, SFX styling over artist-drawn SFX)
Prepress/book assembly for 28 total interior pages (25 story + 3 bonus art)
Cover text layout for multiple cover variants
Production-ready files for print (CMYK, 300 DPI, printer specs provided)

Rate: $10–$15/page, negotiable based on experience. Prepress included in rate preferred.

Timeline: Colored pages delivered in batches of 5 starting August. All lettering and prepress complete by mid-September.

Deliverables: Layered production-ready files (TIFF or PSD), print-ready final PDF.
