Comic Colorist

Job Description

Mythos Comics, a small independent comic publisher based in Los Angeles, is looking for a comic colorist for ongoing paid work. Our titles include Vamp, Magick, Sulfur, and Samaritan (which became a Sylvester Stallone film on Amazon Prime). You can see our work at www.mythoscomics.com. 

We have finished black-and-white line art that needs full color, with steady, ongoing pages for the right colorist: 

Rate: $30 per page, full color working from our finished inked/B&W pages 

What we're looking for: 

• A colorist who can hold a consistent look and mood across a full book, not just a single page 
• Strong sense of color, light, and atmosphere — our current project is a gritty, realistic war story 
• Comfortable coloring over inked pages we provide and delivering print-ready files 
• Reliable on deadlines.
