Key Responsibilities

- Cultural Localization: Ensure translations are culturally appropriate, idiomatic, and perfectly tailored to the sensibilities of the target audience.
- Consistency & Guidelines: Strictly follow project-specific glossaries, style guides, and client instructions to maintain tone, style, and terminology consistency.
- Quality Assurance: Thoroughly review, edit, and proofread your work. Conduct a rigorous "Final Read" prior to submission to guarantee an authentic, seamless flow.
- Deadline Management: Deliver completed assignments reliably on a fixed day each week to support our simultaneous global release schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements
For All Roles:
- Native Speakers Only: You must be a native speaker of the target language.
- Deep Cultural Integration: This is a true localization role, not just word-for-word translation. You must have an immersive understanding of the target country's contemporary culture (e.g., having spent your entire life or formative years from childhood through higher education in a country where the target language is spoken).
- Linguistic Precision: Proven ability to accurately convey the subtext, tone, intent, and subtle context of the original text while ensuring natural reading flow in your native language.
- Reliability: This is a long-term project with fixed weekly delivery schedules. Meeting deadlines is absolutely non-negotiable.
- Anti-AI / Human Translation Quality: To ensure authentic localization, machine translation and AI tools are strictly prohibited.
Role-Specific Notes:
👉 For CH - JP Applicants: You must pass both an internal (CCJK) and client translation test, as well as a Chinese proficiency test. You must also be completely comfortable working across all creative genres, including Boys' Love (BL), mature themes, and explicit content.
👉 For JP - Armenian Applicants: Because your source material is Japanese, a short 10-15 minute online interview will be conducted to confirm a minimum Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or N1.
