Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a DC Comic Artist at The Creative Creation. The artist will work closely with the creative team to conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality comic art for DC Comics projects. Day-to-day tasks include illustrating scenes, developing characters, creating compelling storyboards, inking, and collaborating with writers and colorists. The role requires maintaining consistency in artistic style, meeting tight deadlines, and ensuring high artistic standards for all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Comic Art, Storyboarding, and Inking
- Experience with Book Illustrations, Children’s Book Art, and Book Cover Design
- Proficiency in Vector Illustration and 3D Modeling
- Understanding of and experience with NFT concepts and design
- Strong creative vision and ability to develop original ideas
- Proficiency in industry-standard digital illustration tools and software
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team
- Previous experience working on comic or graphic novel projects, particularly for DC Comics or similar publishers, is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Illustration, or a related field is preferred but not required
