I’m a writer seeking a serious artistic collaborator for an original indie comic series rooted in Southern gothic atmosphere and slow-burn cosmic horror. The script for Issue #1 is complete and structured with deliberate pacing and visual restraint.

This project prioritizes mood, silence, and character over spectacle.

The Story

Set in rural Louisiana in the 1990s, the series begins in childhood. We follow Jaray at an early age, witnessing moments that seem ordinary on the surface but are subtly shaped by something ancient and watching. The story unfolds gradually, allowing the horror to mature as the character does.

This is the foundation of a long-form narrative, designed to evolve over time rather than rush toward shock or excess.
