About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Junior Head of Production to join our dynamic team at PT. Kisai Cahaya Bintang (Kisai Entertainment). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of our innovative webtoon content, ensuring high-quality delivery and driving the success of our digital media initiatives. Based in our Cengkareng, Jakarta Raya office, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our creative output.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and improve SOPs and work systems to enhance departmental efficiency and productivity.
- Review portfolios to evaluate the quality of work submitted by candidates or team members.
- Assist in the recruitment process for artists, including selection, skill tests, screening, and training programs.
- Prepare salary memos for new artists, ensuring data accuracy in contracts.
- Plan and manage the production department’s budget for operations and projects.
- Lead and motivate the production team by providing strategic guidance and maintaining team morale.
- Handle and resolve internal issues within the production department effectively.
- Conduct workforce planning to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production targets.
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in the comic, animation, or similar creative industries, along with experience as a manager leading a production team.
- Proficient in comic production processes such as storyboarding, lining, and coloring, with familiarity in software like Clip Studio Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
- Skilled in budget preparation, workforce planning, and managing recruitment processes, including selection and skill testing.
- Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English to coordinate with teams, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with external parties.
- Capable of solving problems quickly and effectively, with a proactive, organized work attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- Additional understanding of local and international comic markets is a plus.
- Must be willing to work at the Kisai Entertainment HQ, located in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Indonesia.
