Comic Book Colorist

Job Description

Hello everyone!

My name is Ian Walker, and I am the owner/creator of Obsidian Studios LLC, and creator of the indie comic book series PANTHEON, and sci-fi webcomic series STARRUNNERS. I am on the 5th issue of my book currently working on the 6th, and am on the search for comic book colorists that are either 1.) looking to join a studio, 2.) available for comic work, or 3.) open to both.

I am nearly ready to begin putting together a full trade of all 6 issues of the first arc of the series and need some reliable colorists that can fulfill the job. I need a colorist that can complement my work, and keep the integrity of my artwork, but can be bold and dynamic. Since this is a superhero/sci-fi story, I am looking for more of a Western comic book style of coloring. I am open to a possible variety of styles, but more focused on styles that are similar to colorists like LIQUID, and others in the comic space.

What I need from you is your name, and a link to your portfolio of work. It must be a REAL portfolio, not an IG or Facebook page. I also would like a list of at least 3-5 titles you have worked on. Along with this, input a clear price per page for your work, average turnaround time per page, and what part of the world you are from. Anyone that creates a post without any of the outlined information will not be considered. I don't have time to go through private messages, so I need all of the information laid out in the post. I will not be reaching out by direct message unless I choose to work with you.
