Hello!

Thank you to the people who helped me find this area of DA - this place is YUGE! :o

Okay - I’m wanting to do a little indie vanity thing (like the little half-size B&W comics young artists sell at local cons) featuring comical (I hope!) interactions between the two main characters.

Ideally, I’d want an artist familiar with 60s/70s underground greats like Shelton, London and the incomparable Shary Flenniken, and also mainstream geniuses like Herge, Barks, Stanley, Lucey, DeCarlo, Post, Kremer, Tezuka and etc.

This is a boy/girl co-creation with a female pro/an-tagonist, so ideally the artist would either be female, or like Stanley, able to somewhat grasp the female mind and journey rather than being mystified by it.

A manga-conversant artist MIGHT work, but this is a bit more grounded and less stylized than most manga I’ve seen; real emotions are expressed rather than the sort of comical petulance manga seems to favor.

Also ideally, the artist would be in the States, as it is set here, and with many US cultural references.

The visuals are PG, and the dialogue R-rated, so for adults, but nothing extreme.

Oh - and unless you want a check, you'd have to have a PayPal account. (I don’t do ApplePay or Venmo or Crypto or any of that newfangled stuff.)
