Job Description
The Storyboard Division is responsible for visualizing the script into clear, dynamic, and emotionally engaging storyboards that guide the entire production process.
Storyboard Artists translate written scenes into visual sequences, defining composition, pacing, camera angles, and character acting that align with MKC Studio’s cinematic storytelling style.
They work closely with the director and writers to ensure that every frame effectively communicates the story’s emotion, rhythm, and intent before moving into the sketch and line art stages.
Main Responsibilities:
- Translate scripts and dialogues into visual storyboards with clear storytelling flow.
- Plan and design camera angles, scene transitions, and panel composition to enhance readability and visual impact.
- Establish mood, timing, and pacing consistent with the director’s vision.
- Maintain style consistency and continuity across chapters or episodes.
- Collaborate with the director and production leads to refine story flow and emotional beats.
- Revise storyboard scenes based on creative feedback from the Art Director or Lead Storyboard.
MKC Studio collaborates with Korean production partners, so we’re looking for artists who are detail-oriented, consistent, and passionate about creating clean and expressive line art.
