Webtoon Photoshop Typesetter (View Adaptation Experience Preferred)

About the Role

We are looking for freelance Photoshop typesetters to join our international webtoon localization projects.

Your task will be to place translated text and sound effects into webtoon images using Photoshop, following our internal style and layout guidelines.

This is a 100% remote freelance position, ideal for skilled editors seeking flexible work on creative projects.

Responsibilities

• Edit and typeset translated text and sound effects into webtoon panels using Photoshop
• Maintain PSD layer organization and consistency across episodes
• Follow style guides and layout instructions accurately
• Apply feedback from the project management and QC teams
• Deliver work within given deadlines

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• Good command of English (written communication required)
• Attention to visual details and typography
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable, responsive, and deadline-oriented

Preferred Skills

• Experience with webtoon, manga, or comic typesetting
• Familiarity with Scroll-to-Page or Page-to-Scroll layout conversion
• Knowledge of Clip Studio Paint or Adobe InDesign is a plus

Compensation

The displayed rate is indicative and may vary depending on project volume and complexity.

• Freelance rate range: ₱20,000 – ₱54,000 per month (average project basis)
• Payments are made per episode or per page
