We’re looking for an Online Course Coordinator who’s passionate about anime and manga, highly organized, and eager to support a vibrant creative community. If you love anime, digital art, and guiding others in their artistic journey, then this role is for you!

Artillery Philippines is a fast-growing startup art brand looking for a full-time WFH Anime & Manga Art Coach (aka Student Success Coach) under our global Learn to Draw Manga brand.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Online Course Coordinator to ensure that our students in our Online Oneshot Manga Drawing Program achieve results as quickly as possible through exceptional community support, mentorship, and course materials.

You will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and enhancing the operations and services of our courses. This position involves close coordination with professional mangaka mentors, students, your team, and other departments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Student Support and Success
  • Facilitate Zoom sessions with PRO Mangaka mentors and host drawing and manga workshops via Zoom
  • Proactively engage with students via our Facebook Group, Messenger GCs or direct DMs and emails to build strong relationships, understand their needs, and address any concerns or issues they may have.
  • Conduct regular assessments and analysis of student satisfaction levels, utilizing feedback to enhance the quality of our courses and overall student experience.
  • Interview students for feedback on their course experience
  • Assist in adjusting course curriculum and/or material to improve quality of instruction based on student progress and feedback
  • Suggest and execute points of improvement for better operational efficiency and student experience

Operations

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and problems.
  • Monitor ongoing processes and identify potential problems or areas for improvement. Take prompt action to address issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales & marketing to contribute to the growth and success of our manga program.

Community Management

  • Check-in on our student Facebook groups and answer any and all questions and comment on student works within 24-48 business hours.
  • Maintain engagements on our FB groups by commenting on student work submissions, posting announcements, etc.
  • Entertain any student inquiries or concerns via chat or email
  • Track student attendance and reach out to students who miss multiple sessions
  • Onboard new students within 24 business hours.

  • 1 to 2 Full-Time Student Success Coaches
  • Intern/Part-timers (depending on how much support is needed)

Requirements:

  • Stable internet connection
  • Advanced anime/manga drawing skills
  • Own desktop/laptop with Clip Studio Paint or other manga creation software
  • At least 1 year work experience
  • An extrovert who feels energized talking to people
  • Basic Video Editing skills
  • Has experience hosting Zoom sessions and/or Facebook Masterclasses
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Responsible and highly organized
  • Can think on their feet and is a natural problem solver
  • Loves challenges and learning new things

Work hours:

  • 2 days off: Days TBD
  • Willing to work on Saturdays; flexible time on weekdays (as long as you can attend meetings, meet deadlines, and host/manage events for the day)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the animation industry or has experience creating their own manga/comics/webtoon
  • Basic editing skills

You will have a 3 - 5 month paid training/trial period.

Compensation after Trial Period:

  • OTE (On-Target-Earnings): P525,000 - P600,000 annual salary
  • ₱25,000 - ₱30,000 monthly base salary (determined by performance & skill)
  • Basic Benefits such as SSS, PAG-IBIG and Philhealth Allowance (awarded after initial trial period)
  • Incentive bonuses for joining manga contests (P30,000 - P40,000)
  • 13th month bonus
  • End of the year bonus
  • Mid-year bonus
  • Performance incentives for student renewals and student results (P200,000+ per year)
