Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Comic Book Colorist to bring our stories and characters to life through expressive color and compelling visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply dynamic and expressive color to comic pages to enhance tone and narrative impact.
- Collaborate closely with lead comic book artist to ensure visual consistency and creative alignment.
- Develop and maintain color palettes and lighting schemes that support each project’s mood and style.
- Ensure high-quality, print-ready, and web-optimized color work that meets production timelines.
- Provide creative input on visual direction and contribute to the evolution of new and existing comic titles.
- Adapt to feedback efficiently while maintaining artistic integrity and project standards.
Requirements
- Experience in comic book colouring or digital illustration.
- Proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint.
- Familiarity with ClickUp and Slack (Nice to have, but not required).
- Strong understanding of colour theory, composition, and storytelling.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to dedicate est. 10-20 hours per week.
- Highly responsive to communication and feedback within agreed timelines.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant experience is required.
- Based in the Philippines (Preferred but not required)
