Creative Marketing Designer

We are seeking a Creative Marketing Designer who is passionate about visual storytelling and experienced in crafting compelling designs for the WEBTOON platform. You will take full ownership of design tasks from ideation to final artworks and should have a strong understanding of art direction principles, visual consistency, and digital content aesthetics. Responsibilities

• Create original and visually compelling designs for titles, scenes, and content assets tailored to our application, social media, and other channels
• Lead and contribute to the full creative process: ideation, storyboard creation, mock-ups, and final rendering
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across various campaigns, features, and promotional assets
• Apply a strong sense of visual style and art direction awareness to all projects, ensuring consistency and emotional impact
• Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, and Operations & Growth teams to turn ideas into engaging visual assets
• Conceptualize and pitch new design ideas and content themes that resonate with the target audience and suit with the media/platform
• Stay up to date with design trends, webtoon culture, and visual storytelling techniques

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in creative or digital design roles, preferably within the entertainment, animation, or mobile applications industries
• Good sense of layout, color, typography, and storytelling through visuals
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and digital drawing tools (e.g., Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, etc.)
• Understanding of art direction and visual style consistency, even without leading a team
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks with short deadlines
• Deep passion for cartoons, webtoons, pop culture, and creative innovation
• Curious, open-minded, and willing to try new design approaches and creative solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of English (written and spoken) for communication with cross-functional teams in both local and global teams

*A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in illustration, character design, UI content visuals, and ideation is required when applying for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with motion graphics or animation
• Passion for comics, webtoons, games, entertainment services, or storytelling content
• Basic understanding of UI/UX or design for mobile platforms
• Understanding of image formats on social media, and in-app as well as best practices for achieving performance metrics
